Cary Elvin White, 78, of Leroy, West Virginia, passed away May 1, 2012 at Rock Springs Rehabilitation Center in Pomeroy, Ohio. Born in Braxton County, he was a son of the late Earl S. White and Delphia Nicholas White. He was a retired carpenter and a US Army veteran. Surviving are his wife, Darlene King White and his children Clayton White of Wellington, Ohio, Delphia Louise Schramm of Oberlin, Ohio, Darrell Lee White of Cottageville, WV, Michael Model of Arizona, Sean E. White of Parkersburg WV, Kimberly Riggs of Big Springs WV, Jeffrey Allen White of Elyria, Ohio and a step-daughter, Sherry Lynn Patterson; four sisters, Fonda Lee Wright of California, Lesta Vipperman of Amherst, Ohio, Carol Hamm of Elizabeth WV, Linda Cottrell of Sand Fork WV; two brothers, Dean White of Nicut WV and Cebert White of Orma WV; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Friday May 4, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Orma United Methodist Church. Pastor Tom Law will officiate. Interment will be in the Orma Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.
