A Big Springs man is facing seven felony charges related to illegal drugs.

Gary Paul Ferrell, 54, has been charged by the West Virginia State Police and is being held in Central Regional Jail on $70,000 bond.

Criminal complaints filed by Cpl. J. E. Kincaid says that drug buys by a confidential informant led to the arrest.

The informant, according to the complaint, purchased morphine and hydrocodone.

The complaints says some of the purchases were made with Ferrell "conspiring with Tiffany Davis and completing the transaction at the direction of Gary Ferrell" at his residence in Tipton Hollow.
