Robert L. Carpenter, 62 - Arnoldsburg

Robert L. Carpenter, 62, of Rush Run Community, Arnoldsburg, West VIrginia, passed away April 26, 2012 at Minnie Hamilton Health Systems at Grantsville. Born in Calhoun County, he was a son of the late Shirley and Blanche Brookover Carpenter. He was a brick layer and foreman for the L.M.R. Construction Company of Chagrin Falls, Ohio prior to his retirement and was a member of Union 5 Bricklayers. He was a loving husband and father. Surviving are his wife, Druanna Carpenter and his children, Catheline Carpenter of Ft. Myers, Florida, Robert Carpenter, Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Avon Lake, Ohio, Scott Roberts (Robin) of Olmstead Falls, Ohio and Derek Roberts of Beckley, WV; three granddaughters, Kayla McDonald, Tiffany and Ashley Jean Carpenter; two grandsons, Jacob McDonald and Paul Howard Roberts; one great granddaughter, Eowyn Applegate; five sisters, Ireane, Jean, Carol, Judy and Cathy; one brother, Ronald Carpenter. He was preceeded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Carpenter and a brother, Paul Carpenter. There will be no visitation or services. Stump Funeral Home of Arnoldsburg is entrusted with the arrangements.
