Audience enjoys meal, seminar sponsored by Family Resource Network

A large audience heard a presentation on drugs, including new trends, new treatments, and new synthetic substances being abused in the region, including Bath Salts, K-2, SPICE, Kush Kakes, Meow-Meow, Molly's Plant Food, and Cheese.

The Calhoun County Family Resource Network sponsored the program at Grantsville's Senior Center.

The training was provided by Tim White, Region 2 Prevention Coordinator with Prestera Center and Veronica A. Neale, Flight Paramedic with Healthnet Aeromedical.

White said, "The newer drugs are harder to treat due to lack of knowledge and research of the drugs."

The program was one of several being brought to the community by the Family Resource Network.
