A Spencer man was arrested last Friday night in Calhoun County at a relative's house,
charged with the 2nd degree sexual assault of a 44-year-old Spencer woman. John
Fisher, 36, has been charged by police.
The warrant was filed by Deputy Kevin Unger of the Roane County Sheriff's
Department.
The woman met Fisher at Gilligan's Malibu in Spencer and gave him a ride home, after
which the incident reportedly happened. She told police Fisher forcibly raped her.
Fisher was taken to Central Regional Jail, where he is lodged under $103,000 bond.
