OPEN MEETING PROCEDURES/ETHICS TRAINING THURSDAY FOR CALHOUN OFFICIALS

There will be a training event today at the Calhoun Senior Center from 1-4 p.m. to cover Parliamentary Procedures, Open Meeting and Ethics. Presenters will be Roger Hanshaw from WVU Extension and the State Ethics Commission. The training is sponsored by the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Council through a WV ARC Flex-E Grant award. The training is open to the public with emphasis on public officials and employees, and others in organizations that hold formal meetings. The goal will be to learn about misconceptions in Roberts Rules of Order and how to hold a more effective meeting.
