FOUR CRIMINAL TRIALS SET FOR TODAY IN GRANTSVILLE

Four criminal trials are scheduled for today in Calhoun Circuit Court before Judge Thomas C. Evans III.

Court will open at 9:30 a.m.

Indictments previously given for the individuals:

- Tommy Brian Estep, 34, Looneyville, possession of firearm by a felon (one count).

- Charles Ray Metz, 32, Big Bend, wanton endangerment involving a firearm (one count); conspiracy to commit a felony (one count); destruction of property (one count). The charges are related to an incident on Nobe Road, that allegedly involve the throwing of an inactive hand grenade and the arson destruction of a house.

METZ ARRESTED FOLLOWING SHOOTING-GRENADE INCIDENT (05/22/2010) - Tiffany R. Davis, 23, of Grantsville, one count, operate or attempt to operate a clandestine drug laboratory.

- Alfred Gene Starcher, Jr., 26, of Minnora, two counts, burglary; one count, conspiracy to commit a felony; one count, destruction of property; one count, petit larceny.
