CALHOUN HAS FOUR ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR 2012

Calhoun County has four road improvement projects scheduled for 2012, according to David E. Brabham, Assistant District Engineer, District 3.

Three of the projects will be done by local DOH crews.

- Resurfacing by contract of WV 5 from Purdy to Grantsville, 2.08 miles

- Skip patching with DOH forces CR 10 & 10/1, Lovada Road - Broomstick, 3.13 miles total

- Surface treatment (tar and chip) by DOH forces CR 14/5, Hardman Fork, 1.49 miles

- Surface treatment by DOH forces CR 3 and 35/6, Annamoriah Road - Lemuels Run, 5.27 miles

- A 2-mile resurfacing of Rt. 16 at Mt. Zion, a project now being done from last year
