Arnoldsburg firemen work to extract woman from crash

A woman was injured about noon Thursday when her car went out of control on US/119 at Leatherbark, the vehicle going off the highway, traveling down a ditch-line and coming to rest against some rocks.

During the crash, an oxygen device was thrown from the vehicle.

The Arnoldsburg VFD extracted the woman from the vehicle using a saw.

The woman did not appear to suffer serious injuries. She was taken to Roane General by Calhoun EMS.
