| Mary K. Cain, age 87 of Fairground Road, Glenville, West Virginia, departed this life at 9:20 a.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Glenville Care & Rehabilitation Center, Glenville following an extended illness. She was born April 20, 1924, a daughter of the late William E. and Bessie King Cain. Mrs. Cain was a homemaker; former employee of Dalton's Department Store; Howes Department Store and State ABC Store. She loved being a homemaker especially cooking, her flower gardens and taking care of her yard. She was a Baptist by faith. In 1947 she was united in marriage to John William Cain who preceded her in death September 1973. Surviving are two step-daughters-in-law, Peggy Cain of Glenville and Sue Cain of Wheeling. She was preceded in death by 2 step-sons, John Wesley Cain and Nelson Cain. There are 3 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren surviving. One brother and 2 sisters survive, Dennis Kelley and wife Janet of Tulsa OK, June Bloomingdale, husband Paul of Boston MA, and Janet Pitzer, husband Richard of Cincinnati OH. Several nieces and nephews survive. Mary was preceded in death by one sister, Sylvia Timberman and 2 brothers, Dale Kelley and Gale Kelley. Funeral services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., Glenville, at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, March 18 with Brother Dick Pitzer officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadow Lane Cemetery, Glenville. Friends may call 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (the funeral hour) at the Mortuary. Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. is assisting the family of Mary K.
