Thelma Maxine Keplinger Snodgrass, 80 - Spencer

Thelma Maxine Keplinger Snodgrass, 80, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Thursday, March 15, 2012, at home.

She was born June 12, 1931, at Spencer, a daughter of the late Ellis E. and Pauline Rader Keplinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Emogene Smith.

She leaves behind her husband of 61 years, Amos Snodgrass; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Cathy Snodgrass of Spencer and Randy and Pam Snodgrass also of Spencer; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mrs. Snodgrass was a retired Avon representative with 40 years and eight months of service. She was a member of the Clover Community Church and a 1949 graduate of Spencer High School.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, March 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Randall L. Whited officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer. Friends may call Saturday from 5-8 p.m. and Sunday one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
