GRANTSVILLE HAS NEW MUNICIPAL JUDGE

Grantsville Mayor Curt Garretson is pleased to introduce Jared D. Wilson as the new Municipal Judge of Grantsville.

Jared grew up in rural southwest Virginia, (Ben Hur) and graduated from Lee High School in 1997. He attended East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Surveying and Mapping, and Master of Science in Engineering Technology. He is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor from Taft Law School in Santa Ana, CA.

Jared has been a resident of Calhoun County since August 2009 and lives in the community of Pleasant Hill. He is an instructor at Glenville State College and is active at his school and in his church (Pleasant Hill United Methodist).

Jared was sworn in to the position by Mayor Garretson on February 29th. He looks forward to serving the town and citizens of Grantsville.
