SPETZ SENT TO JAIL FOR VIOLATION OF HOME CONFINEMENT - Guilty After Crime Spree

Richard Lee Spetz, 20, of Clay County, has been sent to Central Regional Jail by Roane County officials for violation of home confinement.

Spetz had been charged with nine counts, related to the theft of property from a Geary Elementary School construction site near Newton, including tools, with an estimated value of $15,000, according to a criminal complaint.

Spetz, a relative of Jacob Young, 20, of Clay, was originally charged with 20 counts related to a crime spree.

Young, of "Murder Mountain" fame and other Young family members have been sentenced related to local and interstate theft of equipment.
