The NWS has issued a Tornado Watch in effect until 12:00 Midnight Friday.

A Flash Flood Watch is also in effect from 2 PM EST Friday through late Friday night.

The watch covers Calhoun and all regional counties.

The NWS says a warm front will bring showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and then a cold front will bring strong thunderstorms tonight. With the ground already saturated from previous rains, any heavy thunderstorm can produce excessive runoff.
