Dive teams have been searching a dam in Weston near missing toddler Aliayah Lunsford's home.

Aliayah's Army and volunteers in a search group have said they spotted something in the water.

Aliayah's Army continued to clear more areas, including the Bendale dam, which is behind the former home of Aliayah's parents, Lena and Ralph Lunsford.

The volunteers have been following leads and searching certain areas for a few weeks.

Volunteers had the dam lowered so they could take out a boat and an underwater camera. They say they found "something" around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon and alerted authorities, who then took over the search.

Divers from Braxton County weren't able to find what the volunteers found, news reports say.
