FREE HEALTH HISTORY DINNER AND FORUM THURSDAY

(02/14/2012)
Have you ever heard someone say "My parents and grandparents have diabetes or heart disease or obesity, so it doesn't matter what I do, I am going to get it anyway?"

Share your thoughts about family health history, genes and the environment at a free dinner and forum on Thursday, February 16 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Calhoun County Committee on Aging, Grantsville Senior Center.

Participants are asked to complete a survey and participate in a group discussion. The forum is sponsored by the National Human Genome Research Institute and supported by West Virginia University, Minnie Hamilton Health System and the American Lung Association.

For more information, contact Dr. Taura Barr at 304-293-0503. Everyone is welcome.
