Robert L. Godfrey, 88, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away January 29, 2012 at Worthington Manor in Parkersburg. He was born in Calhoun County June 16, 1923 and was a retired farmer. Surviving are his children Eula (Robert) Starcher of Parkersburg, Connie Harris of Covington VA, Linda (Cody) Saxton of NC, Jerry (Dolly) Godfrey of Mt. Zion WV, and Gary Godfrey of Mt. Zion; a sister, Vera Conrad of Spencer WV. Private burial services were held at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Stump Funeral Home of Grantsville was in charge of the arrangements.
