SMITHVILLE WATER PROJECT WILL EXTEND WATER TO BEATRICE

The $1.5 million Smithville Water Project (also known as the Beatrice Water Project) will provide water service for 45 people in the Beatrice community of Ritchie County. Groundbreaking for the project is expected in 2013. "It will bring water to communities that don't have service," said Bob Leach, Grant Coordinator for The Mid Ohio Valley Regional Council.
