CALHOUN RESIDENTS INDICTED IN ROANE COUNTY

Several Calhoun residents have been indicted by a Roane County grand jury.

Sonja Whipkey, 38, of Millstone was indicted on two counts of fraudulent use of an access device, following an arrest by the Spencer Police Department.

Whipkey, a contract mail carrier, allegedly stole gift cards mailed to her mail route customers and used them at Spencer's Wal-Mart.

Crystal Dawn Bell, 26, of Arnoldsburg; Thomas J. Cooper, 72, of Walnut Road, Chloe, and Samantha Starcher, 21, of Arnoldsburg, have been indicted on three counts each of possession of Fentanyl with intent to deliver and conspiracy.

They were arrested by Trooper P. S. Fisher.

During a traffic stop last June, according to the complaint, the officer found pain patches, hydrocodone and marijuana inside the car.
