Mabel Arzetta Jones, 96 - Big Springs (01/31/2012) Mabel Arzetta Jones, 96, of Big Springs, West Virginia, passed away January 30, 2012. She was born in Wirt County a daughter of the late Johnnie and Emily Deems Furr. Surviving are her children, Nellie Edgell of Harrisville WV, Shirley Todd of Delaware, Robert (Barbara) and Roger (Michelle) Jones both of Glenville WV, Don (Ella) Jones of Tuppers Plains OH, Olen (Jewell) Jones of Big Springs, Glen (Wilda) Jones of Troy WV; two grandchildren whom she raised are Arzetta (Tom) Raines of Camden WV and Debbie (Danny) Miller of Big Springs; several additional grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jones; a son, Wayne Jones; a granddaughter, Crystal Jones; and a son-in-law, Robert Edgell. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2nd at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville WV with Rev. Ronzel Roberts officiating. Interment will be in the McGuffey Cemetery at Elizabeth WV. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of services.
