Mother Teresa once said, "It is not how much you do but how much love you put in the doing." No truer words can be spoken then of a nurse. Every day, nurses devote their lives to caring for you and your family members. We now have the opportunity to recognize their dedication.
Minnie Hamilton Health System will be hosting its 2nd Annual Nursing Excellence Awards banquet on May 10, 2012 and would like to hear from patients regarding the impact a nurse has had on their lives.
In 2011 Minnie Hamilton held an awards banquet to honor nursing staff that have shown traits of excellence throughout their day to day practice. This award was nominated by the nurse's peers.
This year, Minnie Hamilton is requesting the community submit nominations with a brief summary of how a nurse touched their lives. This awards ceremony is to become an annual event to recognize those who spend countless hours caring for you, your friends and your families.
If you would like to nominate a nurse at Minnie Hamilton Health System, forms may be picked up at the hospital or use the printable form nomination form and mail to Kim Houchin c/o MHHS 186 Hospital Drive, Grantsville, WV 26147 or feel free to hand deliver to Kim Houchin, Laura Marks, Denise Starcher, or Leann Newell. All nominations should by mailed by March 16, 2012.
The story or reason that you give for this nomination will be shared at the presentation of the award, and may be used for future public relations or events. Nominations may be made anonymously if you prefer to do so.
