(L-R) Cole Ritchie, Houstin McCune, Casey Ritchie, Allen Metheney, and Johnny Taylor By Cristina McCune Calhoun Middle School Wrestlers traveled to the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington, WV on Jan. 20 and 21 where they placed 4th out of 44 teams. Calhoun had two champions, Houstin McCune at 102lbs with a record of 6-0 and Cole Ritchie at 135lbs with a record of 5-0. Allen Metheney placed 2nd at 95lbs with a record of 4-1, Casey Ritchie placed 2nd at 123lbs with a record of 5-1 and Johnny Taylor placed 3rd at 128lbs with a record of 5-1. The team will travel to Parkersburg South on Jan. 27 and 28 for the WV Duals.
