She was a retired Kellwood Company employee.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Jean "Pooch" Hickman of Walton; sons, William Leon "Bump" Rhodes and Denny Lee "Hopsing" Rhodes both of Spencer; 15 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Toney Leon Rhodes; son, Donald Ray "Donnie" Mitchell; dad and mom, Athel and Myrtle King Jenkins; sister, Jean Roberts.

A funeral service will be held Monday, January 23 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Emzy Ashby officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. William Cemetery, Groundhog, Wirt County.

Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
