| GRUESOME MURDER-SUICIDE - Kanawha authorities say a 54-year-old man killed himself after killing his girlfriend and dismembering her body in a bathtub. Nathaniel Roy Lawton of Institute shot himself in the head Thursday night as police were executing a search warrant at his apartment. Police were investigating the death of his live-in girlfriend, 53-year-old Carol Ann Rhim. The Charleston Gazette reports that authorities believe Lawton killed Rhim on Tuesday and cut up her body. Kanawha County Chief Deputy Johnny Rutherford told media that Rhim's head and hands were found in the trunk of Lawton's car. Deputies say they believe Lawton may have cut off her head and hands to help hide her identity if her body was found. They are still looking for the rest of Rhim's body. PIZZA MAN SHOOTS AT ROBBER - A man who tried to allegedly rob a pizza delivery driver in Hurricane got more than he bargained for. The Pizza man tried to shoot him. Details are not available, but reports say the driver told police that somebody tried to rob him. That's when he pulled out a gun and began firing. The suspect was able to run away from the scene.
