A Pennsboro eatery, the Crossroads Cafe, was struck by fire early Wednesday morning, the restaurant is described a total loss.

Ritchie fire outfits responded to the 1:16 a.m. call.

Pennsboro and regional firefighters battled the blaze during the early morning hours as temperatures dropped in the region.

911 indicated no one was in the building and no were injuries reported.

Pennsboro Fire Chief Robert Riggs says the fire marshal's office has completed its investigation, and that the cause is still listed as undetermined.
