CALHOUN ANNOUNCES 2012 FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

Calhoun announced its 2012 football schedule with Sherman, Clay and Tyler Consolidated replacing Williamstown, Ritchie and Moorefield. The Red Devils open the 2012 season on the road at Gilmer County on August 24.

That game is followed by home games with Sherman (replacing Ritchie) and Doddridge County before playing at Parkersburg Catholic.

The Red Devils fifth game of the season is home against Tyler Consolidated, which is dropping down from Class AA to Class A in the place of perennial power Williamstown.

A home game with South Harrison kicks off the second half of the schedule.

After that the Red Devils go on the road to St. Marys before entertaining Buffalo in what figures to be the second and last of a two-game series.

After that Calhoun closes the season on the road at Wirt County before renewing a rivalry with Clay County.

Last year Calhoun went 1-9 for the secon straight season.

Oct. 5 - A - ST. MARYS

Oct 12 - H - BUFFALO

Oct 19 - A - WIRT

Oct. 26 - A - CLAY
