CALHOUN SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT: 12/11/11 - Petit larceny, So. Calhoun Highway, Chloe, stolen pistol 12/26/11 - Breaking and entering/grand larceny, Upper Nicut Rosedale Road, stole several tools 12/30/11 - Tampering with auto, petit larceny, Spring Run, Arnoldsburg, 5 batteries stolen WV STATE POLICE:GRANTSVILLE DETACHMENT: The West Virginia State Police, Grantsville Detachment, will not release public information with a brief description of type of crime or the numbers of property crimes or incidents that have been reported to or are being investigated by them. GRANTSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT: Grantsville Police Chief Andy Walker did not respond to several requests for a December, 2011 police report of monthly activity. He did provided a list of December citations/arrests: 12/9/11 Dennis R. Richards - Defective Equipment/DUI 12/29/11 Christopher A. Craft - No seat belt 12/30/11 Jeff A Richardson - Defective Equipment/No MVI 12/31/11 Joe E. Lamp, 43 - Defective Equipment/No Operators 12/31/11 John D. Huffman - Unattended Vehicle/No Proof of Insurance 1/1/12 Samuel A Welch - Stop sign violation/DUI 12/29/11 John F. Fisher arrested for 3 Felony warrants
