Calhoun Middle School wrestlers traveled to the Armory in Summersville WV on Saturday for the WV Army National Duals.
The team placed first in their pool of 6 teams.
Team scores were: Calhoun 63 Morgantown 21, Calhoun 72 Lumberport 18, Calhoun 75 Eastern Greenbrier 12, Calhoun 60 Braxton 16, Calhoun 49 Tazwel Virginia 28.
Individual scores were: 78lbs Eli Stump 3-2, 84lbs John Hart 4-1, 90lbs Micheal Morgan 1-4, 95lbs Allen Metheney 4-1, 102lbs Houstin McCune 5-0, 110lbs Devan McKown 5-0, 116lbs Nick Murphy 2-3, 123lbs Casey Ritchie 4-1, 128lbs Johnny Taylor 5-0, 135lbs Cole Ritchie 5-0, 145lbs Seth Moore 5-0, 155 Connor Ritchie 4-1, 171lbs Sam Baringer 3-2, 190lbs Chris Lacy 5-0.
Calhoun will travel to The Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington WV on Jan. 20 and 21 for the WSAZ tournament.
