Adrian Kyle Ball, 81 - Grantsville

(01/08/2012)
Adrian Kyle Ball, 81, of Grantsville, West Virginia, went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2012.

He was the beloved son of the late Freddie Ball and Ethel Doris Snider Ball. Loving brother of the late Wilfred Ball, Freddie Ball, Jr., and Earnestine Ball and to Freda Whytsell of Grantsville, Delores Byrd of Tanner, Erma Moss of Mentor OH and Ernest Ball of Broomstick. Beloved husband to the late Olena Mae Vannoy Ball. Loving father of Steven Kyle Ball of Willowick OH and Wanda Marie Ruple of Indian Trail NC. Loving grandfather to Brian Ruple of Mentor, Erica Schaaf of Matthews NC, Mark Kresila of Westlake OH, and Rachel Kooyman of Eastlake OH. Precious great grandfather to Grace, Ella, Kaleb, Savannah, Kyra, Joshua, Hunter, and Danielle.

Adrian loved life and people and had a very big heart. He loved God, family and his country. He served in the Marine Corp and was stationed in Germany in the early 50's. No one was a stranger to him for long, they soon knew him as a friend. Adrian's lifelong dream to retire and move back to Calhoun County came to fruition in 1992 when he retired from Metal Seal and Products of Willoughby OH. He then became the farmer that was in his heart and tended his gardens, fruit trees and animals. He also enjoyed hunting up until the last few years. He was an active member of Enon Baptist Church and for many tears volunteered as a van driver for the Veterans Administration.

His family and friends will miss him very much.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 11 at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville with Rev. John Vannoy officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
