The first vehicle accident of the holiday weekend happened at 4:15 a.m. Saturday at Arnoldsburg.

The vehicle went out of control on US 33-119 just west of Arnoldsburg, crashing into a utility pole and almost going into a creek-bed.

The driver was not injured.

State Police are investigating.

Calhoun EMS and the Arnoldsburg VFD responded to the scene.
