| Arlen Darrell Sears, 81 of Chloe, West Virginia, passed away at his home on White Oak Road on Tuesday, December 22, 2011.
Darrell was born February 18, 1930 at Nicut, WV to William and Viola weekly Sears.
He is survived by his wife Leona Conley Sears; two sons, Michael Sears and Stephen Sears (Michele); grandchildren, Rebecca McClung (Jay), Rachel Sears (John) and Julie Sears (Jim); great grandchildren, Autumn McClung and Emily Sears; one brother, Habred Siers, and one sister Orva Parsons.
He is preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by one daughter, Cheryl Sears Fross, two brothers, Edward and Forest Sears, four sisters, Roxie Cooper, Evelyn Bailey, Thelma Lichlyter, and Velva Lilly.
He was retired from Starcher Motors of Spencer and He served in the U.S. Army and Air Force.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27 at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg. Rev. Carl Marks will officiate. Interment will be in the Cooper cemetery at Walnut. Friends may call from one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice Care Corporation would be appreciated.
