A fire of unknown origin destroyed an unoccupied house on Shine Bottom Road off Garfield Road in Pee Wee, Wirt County.

The Elizabeth-Wirt Volunteer Fire Dept. responded after 3 a.m. Tuesday.

The two-story house was not occupied, but was used for storage.

The fire department was on scene for four hours, arriving back at the station after 7 a.m.

No injuries were reported at the fire scene.
