Beverly Lou Sprouse, 67 - Letter Gap

Beverly Lou Sprouse age 67 of Grass Run Rd., Letter Gap Community departed this life at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born February 17, 1944 at Letter Gap, Gilmer County a daughter of the late Lester and Lillian Cox Baker.

She was a graduate of Weirton High School Class of '62; retired from Gilmer Primary Care and Rehabilitation Center, Glenville as a receptionist for 17 years; former secretary to Dr. V; dedicated her life to helping others. She enjoyed flea markets and yard sales and spending time with grandchildren. She was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church at Stumptown.

On April 12, 1964 she was united in marriage to Larry Sprouse who survives at their Grass Run Road home.

Surviving, one son, Michael A. Sprouse and wife Angie of Normantown, two daughters, Bonita "Bonnie" Buracker and husband Donald of Martinsburg and Kelly Pritt and husband Johnnie of Flatwoods; grandchildren, Alexis and Isiac Sprouse, Rodney and Brandy Parsons, Karli Buracker, Aden and Blake Ryan Pritt; 2 great grandchildren, Haley and Ryan Parsons.

Also surviving are three brothers and 2 sisters, Orval "Butch" Baker of Wintersville OH, James Baker and wife Lenora of Myrtle Beach SC, Howard Baker of Steubenville OH, Patricia Spencer of Weirton WV and Debra Hutchison and husband Gene of Centreville VA.

Funeral services will be held at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., Glenville at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 21 with Pastor Michael Sprouse officiating. Burial will follow in the Turner Cemetery at Lockney. Friends may call 5-8 p.m., Tuesday at the Mortuary.

Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. is assisting the family of Beverly Lou Sprouse with arrangements.
