A Braxton County woman is behind bars after police allegedly found drugs, after police pulled her over on a routine traffic stop.

40-year-old Natasha Verton has been charged with possession and possession with intent to deliver.

Police are saying they found Xanax and Morphine in her pocket.

Verton is being held at the Central Regional Jail. The Sutton Police Department is investigating.
