Jeremy Shane Smith, 23, of Newton, West Virginia, died December 14, 2011. He was a pipe line construction worker, a 2006 graduate of Roane County High School and a member of the Newton Baptist Church. Jeremy enjoyed deer hunting. Survivors include his parents, Rob and Karen Roush of Charleston WV; sisters, Heather Smith of Newton and Chelsey Dillard of Charleston; grandparents, Jack and Ina Jean Smith of Newton and Norman and Janet Roush of Charleston; girlfriend, Morgan Hoff of Newton; several aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be held Sunday, Dec. 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer with Rev. Ron Fisher and Rev. David McLaughlin officiating. Burial will be in the J.
