Micheal Morgan By Cristina McCune Calhoun Middle School wrestlers traveled to Pt. Pleasant on Dec. 9 and 10 for the Big Ben Invitational wrestling tournament. The team placed 2nd out of 14 teams. Individual results were 78lbs: John Hart 6-2, Noah Allen, 3-4 84lbs: Eli Stump 6-2, 90lbs: Micheal Morgan 4-4 and 4th place, 95lbs: Allen Metheney 7-0 and 1st place, Brad Lacy 1-6, 102lbs: Houstin McCune 7-0 and 1st place, 110lbs: Devan McKown 6-1 and 2nd place, 116lbs: Nick Murphy 3-7. 123lbs: Casey Ritchie 6-1 and 2nd place, 128lbs: Johnny Taylor 7-1 and 1st place, 135lbs: Cole Ritchie 9-0 and 1st place, 145lbs: Seth Moore 4-5 and 6th place, 155: Conner Ritchie 5-4, 171lbs: Sam Barringer 2-5 HWT: Coy Bailey 5-4 and 5th place, Chris Lacy 5-3. The team will be traveling to Elkview on Dec. 16 and 17 for the Elkview Invitational. Allen Metheney
