Donald B. Duskey, 57 - Lambertville, Michigan

Donald B. Duskey, age 57, a resident of Lambertville, Michigan, passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at The Toledo Hospital.

He was born July 8th, 1954 to Don and Ann (Smith) Duskey in Grantsville, West Virgina.

Don was employed with Michigan Grain Elevator for 11 years and also worked with Mazda Auto Alliance for several years. More recently, Don was self employed and enjoyed the remodeling and construction fields.

He also spent time drawing and sketching, cooking, fishing and fixing anything that needed fixing. Don had a warm heart and a wonderful sense of humor, always leaving a smile on everyone's face. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandsons, Nick and Riley who were always by his side.

Don was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Yeager and brother, John Duskey.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Mary Jane Duskey; children, Phillip Duskey, Danetta (Jon) VanBuren and Janetta (Ryan) Stoiber; grandchildren, Nick (Briana), Maryann, Riley, Kelsy, Jon Jr., Wyatt, Destiny, David and Isaiah; great grandson, Jaden; brother, Steve (Sharon) Duskey; parents, Don and Ann Duskey; mother and father-in-law, Jim and Mary Desko; brother-in-law, Steve (Pat) Desko and sister-in-law, Marilyn Dobrolinski and several nieces and nephews and his many "White Rd. Friends".

The family will receive guests Saturday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 8307 Memorial Highway, Ottawa Lake, MI.

Those wishing to make a Memorial Contribution are asked to consider the family.

A special thank you to Dr. Alan Sundheimer for his professional care and his longtime friendship and the staff of St. Ann-Mercy Hospital for the loving care and support they provided for Don and the family over the years.
