TWO WEBSTER WOMEN DIE ON RAIN-SLICK CLAY ROAD

Two Webster County women died Tuesday in Clay County after their car went over an embankment and struck a tree on the Widen-Dille Road. Dead on scene from "substantial trauma," was Samantha Darlene Williams, 20, and Jennifer A. Cogar, 43, whose car lost control on the slippery highway. Police say Cogar was attempting to maneuver a rightward curve when she lost control of her car, which slid off the slick roadway edge, dove over the embankment and came to rest against a large tree.
