Glenn Patrick "Pap" Keeney, Sr., 81 - Spencer

Glenn Patrick "Pap" Keeney, Sr., 81, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away November 30, 2011.

He was the last living son of the late Dan and Lona Keeney.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Pauline Powell, the mother of his sons; his second oldest son, Glenn P. Keeney, Jr. and his third oldest son, Mark Anthony Keeney.

Glenn was a Korean War era veteran. He was an avid hunter and loved hunting at his camp in Beaver Dam.

Survivors include his companion of 24 years, Maxine Nichols; oldest son, Richard Keeney, Sr. of Parkersburg and youngest son, Michael Keeney, Sr. and his fiancée, Laura Holbert of Walton; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held December 3 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Richard Elliott officiating. Burial will be in the Hodam Cemetery, Spencer.

Friends may call Saturday two hours prior to the service.
