Ernest "Tinker" Isenhart, Jr., 70 - Glenville

Ernest "Tinker" Isenhart, Jr., age 70, of Glenville, WV departed this life at 11:32 a.m. Friday, November 25, 2011 at his home following an extended illness with his sister by his side.

He was born March 11, 1941 in Cedarville, WV, a son of the late Ernest Isenhart, Sr. and Gladys Whisman Isenhart Greenleaf.

Tinker retired as a carpenter after 50-plus years. He loved bowling, Nascar racing and gardening. He was a man always on the go.

He is survived by four sons, Greg, David, Jimmie, and Jeremy, and two grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Roger of Clarksburg and three sisters, Jean Brown of Wheeling, Janet Isenhart of Parkersburg and Marty Bunn of Glenville with whom he resided. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tinker was preceded in death by brothers, Jackie Dale and Thomas and three sisters, Becky and Sharon Isenhart and Carol Herrington.

At Tinker's request his body will be cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the family's convenience.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Hospice Care Corporation of Burnsville, WV or the Glenville Baptist Church Cancer Fund in Glenville, WV.
