Thanks to a great bounty of food provided by The Salvation Army, the enthusiastic assistance of 56 volunteers from the community and Calhoun's United Methodist Churches, and the promotion by area media, CCCOA's "Operation Happy Thanksgving" was a great success.

In total, 272 Thanksgiving dinners were shared or delivered in the course of the day, and everyone enjoyed a great sense of community and fellowship. Many thanks to everyone involved.
