PERSON REPORTEDLY TRAMPLED UNCONSCIOUS DURING FIGHT AT MILLSTONE INN - Police, Ambulances, Fire Dept. Responds Early Sunday, One Person Taken To Hospital

Calhoun EMS ambulances and police responded to an altercation at the Millstone Inn where a woman had reportedly been trampled and was unconscious, according to a 911 call.

Calhoun 911 received a call from the establishment at 1:17 a.m. Sunday requesting an ambulance for "an injured woman who has been trampled."

One person, reported to be male, was transported by ambulance from the scene to Roane General Hospital, described as being "unreponsive" at 2:22 a.m. for a period of time enroute to the Spencer hospital.

A report indicated a disturbance was still on-going twenty minutes after the 911 original call.

The nature of the incident could not be confirmed.

The State Police and the Grantsville Police Department arrived about 30 minutes from the original call.

The Arnoldsburg VFD also responded to the scene.

The Millstone Inn is located on US 33-119 just east of Arnoldsburg.

Police had not made arrests related to the incident Monday evening.

The West Virginia State Police, Grantsville Detachment, does not provide public information regarding incidents in Calhoun County.
