KNOTTS IS CALHOUN'S EQT STUDENT OF EXCELLENCE

EQT of West Virginia, an energy company, has announced their 2011 Students of Excellence. They are students who have excelled in the classroom, contributed to their schools and also worked to improve their communities. Calhoun County High School's EmmaLee K. Knotts of Chloe has a GPA of 3.733. Her activities and achievements include her membership in the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta, a math honor society. EmmaLee has always has been interested in the medical field. She is considering attending Davis and Elkins College or West Liberty University and pursuing a bachelor's degree in science. She wants to become a registered nurse with a specialization in surgical or emergency room medicine.
