LINCOLN MEN SHOOT AT POLICE - Two men have been arrested after allegedly leading police on a wild chase through Lincoln County with one of them accused of trying to kill an officer.

According to a criminal complaint, a Hamlin police officer tried to pull over a truck. The driver, Freddie Adkins, and his passenger, Paul Estep, wouldn't comply.

Police say that one of the men pulled out a handgun and fired five shots toward the officer, who managed to get the license number.

Police later found Adkins and Estep at a campground in Lincoln County.

The criminal complaint says that Adkins hit the officer in the shoulder and tried to kick him. Estep had a knife and ignored the officers when they told him to put it down. While they were taking Estep into custody, he also allegedly hit an officer in the leg.

Estep is charged with attempted murder of a police officer, wanton endangerment, obstructing an officer, brandishing a deadly weapon, assault on a police officer and battery on a police officer. He is in the Western Regional Jail on a $110,000 bond.

Adkins is charged with obstructing an officer, assault on a police officer, battery on a police officer, fleeing from an officer and reckless driving. He is also in the Western Regional Jail on a $57,000 bond.

PIZZA HEIST - Two people have been arrested for allegedly holding up a pizza place in Huntington.

Authorities say James Estep and Robert Pinson were wearing masks when they allegedly went into the Gino's, showed a gun, and demanded money. The pair did get away with some cash.

MEADOWBROOK MALL LOCK-DOWN - Bridgeport Police locked down Meadowbrook Mall following an armed robbery at the shopping center.

The mall was packed for the midnight premiere of "Twilight: Breaking Dawn."

An armed man robbed a woman near the food court parking lot, police said. They quickly began looking for the man who was believed to be armed with a gun.

Shoppers and mall employees were in lockdown for approximately two hours.

Police searched the building twice before opening the doors.

TEEN FACING GUN CHARGES - A teen who told police he had been kidnapped is now facing a gun charge. Huntington Police say the teen, who is from Detroit, was arrested at a BP station.

When an officer asked him to hand over a backpack, he refused and a struggle ensued.

Police say as the officer wrestled the teen to the ground a handgun and bullet fell out of the backpack.

The teen was arrested for possession of a firearm. Police say he was never kidnapped and had been living in Huntington for about a month.
