MAN CHARGED FOLLOWING POLICE PURSUIT

(11/12/2011)
An Arnoldsburg man has been charged by State Police for multiple-offenses after he failed to stop for an officer on road patrol, after he noticed the subject had a defective headlight.

John Frederick Fisher, 32, was charged in late October with fleeing in a motor vehicle, driving suspended, no insurance, defective equipment and reckless driving, by Trooper S. E. McCullough.

The officer, joined by other law enforcement officers, went in pursuit of Fisher on Rt. 16 north after his truck crossed the center line several times near Grantsville, according to the criminal complaint.

The Ford F-150 truck turned on White Pine Road, with the vehicle coming to a stop sitting sideways in the road.
