Irene May Siers, 90 - formerly of Five Forks

Irene May Siers, 90, formerly of Five Forks, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Grand Haven Nursing Home in Cynthiana, Kentucky.

She was born July 22, 1921, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Burrows.

She retired from BF Goodrich in Grantsville WV. She was member of the Five Forks Community Church where she taught Sunday school for many years.

She is survived by two sons, Melvin and his wife Charlotte Siers of Veradale WA, and Larry and his wife Marianne Siers of Elizabeth WV; two daughters, Judy Johnson and her husband Warraen of Cynthiana KY, Karen Offutt and her husband Lention of Elizabeth WV; one foster daughter, Juanita Shafer of Walton WV; three brothers, Leonard, Amos and Andy Burrows; one sister, Eveline Frye; 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Siers; one brother, Hayward Burrows; two sisters, Emogene Davis and Lorene Wyers; one daughter-in-law, Susan Siers; and one grandson, Mark Edward Johnson.

Funeral services will be held 12-noon Saturday, Nov. 12 at the Five Forks Community Church with Rev. Alfred Hickman officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville, and Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
