At Pleasant Hill Elementary School, the children are getting ready for the holidays.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner. Everyone is excited about getting to see family and friends and have a big dinner.

Sadly though, some kids won't be having a big dinner or even a dinner at all.

With the economy and tough times, hunger is becoming an increasing reality for today's kids.

Here at PHE, the PTO is once again putting on a food drive for the months of November and December.

You don't have to have a child in school to help out.

For more information you can call the school at 304-354-6022. An extra can or two may make a huge difference to a hungry child.
