HARRISON CO. MURDER - The Harrison County Sheriff's office is investigating the murder of 58-year old Ida Messenger of Good Hope.

Messenger was found dead by a family member in her home with multiple stab wounds.

Harrison authorities have arrested a Lewis County man on charges of killing his estranged wife.

Terry Messenger has been charged with first degree murder, stabbing his estranged wife with a hunting knife during an argument.

Police said Messenger had left his job at the DOH Friday morning and found a note at his home in Jane Lew that Ida had left him and went to confront her.

Messenger is in the Northern Regional Jail without bail.

BOONE MAN IN STAND-OFF - A Boone County man is behind bars after a four hour standoff with police.

Police responded to a shots-fired call at a mobile home near Danville.

When they arrived they say 47-year-old Ernest Ulbrich had destroyed the mobile home, refused to come out for police and tried to hide in the back of the residence.

A SWAT team went into the trailer and took Ulbrich into custody.

Deputies found multiple firearms and ammunition inside the mobile home. Ulbrich is charged with two felony counts of wanton endangerment and is currently in the Southwestern Regional Jail.

Police say Ulbrich has a history of mental health issues and has been dealt with by several law enforcement agencies in the past.

PIZZA HEIST - Workers at Gino's Pizza in Huntington were shaken up after the store was robbed at gunpoint.

The shop was robbed at gunpoint, workers telling police that two suspects came into store and demanded cash.

They got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
