RITCHIE COUNTY BAND COMPETES IN ATLANTIC COAST COMPETITION

Submitted by Kathy Taylor Ritchie County High School Band has accomplished some amazing things this year. They have the highest score in competition in the history of the band. They also have had been ranked high enough in the standings to make the Atlantic Coast Championships in Hershey Pennsylvania this weekend (October 30.) The band is in competition with approximately 30 other bands from 9 states. WBOY-TV came out to pay a visit and do some interviews with the director and the band. The Band would like to thank everyone who supported them in any way. All of the kind gestures do not go unnoticed and each and every one are appreciated.
