Derald Glen Patterson, 41 - Orma

Derald Glen Patterson, 41 of Orma, West Virginia, passed away October 22, 2011 near Norwood, Colorado, while on an elk hunting trip.

He was born November 17, 1969 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, a son of the late Armour Derald Patterson, and Linda Kay Falls-Patterson.

Glen was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union, Local 132. Glen was also an avid hunter, and was a member of both the Bear Fork Hunting Club, and the Spruce Hunting Club.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Evert Falls.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Patterson, of Orma, and their children, Mitchell Glen Patterson, and Miranda Nicole Patterson. He also leaves behind his mother, Linda Kay Patterson of Millstone; a brother Chad Patterson of Millstone; and his grandmother, Mae Falls-Bugden of Arnoldsburg.

A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 28 at the West Fork Community Building, Arnoldsburg, with Pastor Tom Law officiating. Interment will be in the Falls-Siers Cemetery, Millstone.

Visitation will be from noon until the time of service.

John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
